As we know, there are several rolling applications out there that people block unwanted calls or simply call us to prevent any upset in a situation that we do not want to be disturbed. It turns out that our BB is just that tool that's confused in sound.
When entering Profiles -> Advanced, you get a window that shows all existing profiles. Below is shown something that says "important calls" (called major), then combining that with the profile "Quiet" can achieve a decent firewall and efficient. Ear to drum!:
1 .- Get into Profiles -> Advanced, highlight the profile "Silent", press the menu button and select Edit.
2 .- Scroll to the bottom, you will see two lines that say "phone (number unknown)" and "phone (number unknown). Click on both, obviously the first one and the other later.
3 .- You will see a screen where you can change the sound and vibration, but the important thing is the last line of that screen that says "Do Not Disturb." Here change the setting to YES. Save your changes.
4 .- Go back to the window that opened when he Profiles -> Advanced. At the end you will find an item that says "importants calls." This can be edited to add those phone numbers you wish to receive. Edit these numbers according to your taste by adding them directly from the address book. Select the profile to be used in case of receiving a call from these numbers and / or select a tone to identify this group of special numbers or important. Save your changes.
5 .- Finally, when you want to block calls that are not important or will not be disturbed in certain situations, select the profile "Quiet" and check the box next to "Important Calls". This will not hear any announcement, not ringing, unless it is an "important call."
Follow this.
a. - This does NOT send any SMS or email to any person who calls us and we will find among the "important calls" simply does not miss the call and diverted to the answering machine, so our partner's unique option you have is leaving a voice message.
b. - This will not allow it beeps when you get email, SMS or instant messaging as it is in the profile "Quiet." If you want you can change to another profile to receive indication of these activities as long as edit the profile as indicated in steps 2 and 3 above.
