Blackberry mobile devices are having a very upgradable OS its maker RIM, which always brings several new versions of OS per year.
Like any mobile manufacturer, the new versions of the OS are distributed through the Service itself and the client must send your phone to the manufacturer to have it upgraded to the latest version.
In other cases, like Blackberry, you can download from your Web files needed to update the OS without having to send the device for repair, which saves us time and travel.
What we are going to explain in this post, is like a Blackberry downgrade, ie, lower your OS to a previous version and oldest of which already have installed on your mobile. Sometimes worth it when the new OS gives us the motive or failure is a Beta version and still in testing.
In the following BlackBerry Web have a list of operators who distribute their mobile. We chose our mobile operator in the drop-down BlackBerry model and so download the executable file (. EXE) to your computer.
The results are sorted by the most current to oldest. Every time you download an update, you must install on your PC to be of an executable. By this I mean that each new release we get down to update our Blackberry, appear later in the programs installed on your PC, in Control Panel> Add or Remove Programs. "
Now, if we want to "lose" the OS version, we must proceed as follows:
We went into "Start> Control Panel> Add or Remove Programs (XP version) or Programs and Features (Vista version)."
Uninstall all versions of OS we've come down to our Blackberry.
When you download the version you want to downgrade and have installed, enter "C: / Program Files / Common Files / Research In Motion / Apploader" and delete the file "vendor.xml."
Our Blackberry connect via USB, run the Desktop Manager and first make a Backup of your data to avoid losses.
Finally enter "Application Loader" and scored the applications you want to install / uninstall. The OS starts updating, do not hurry it takes at least 30 minutes, and restart the Blackberry with its new OS downgrade.
We have listed the Blackberry with OS elected and fully operational.
Notes:
Coming down to an older version of OS, if you are using the BIS service may have to resend the Service Books
In some of the applications installed, we will register them again or start to reconfigure his assistant.
