Well as we all expected, from qeu be announced on Google TV and went to market in October, finally a group of hackers called Android GTVhacker managed to install applications on that device, after a hack both software and hardware. Note that is not easy to do this as it requires knowledge of electrons to disarm and weld parts in the device.
There is still much work ahead as the applications are not as they should and have many flaws, but it should be noted that this is a very preliminary work which is expected to improve over time.
This half-solution is not available for everyone as it requires opening the device, besides having the same software GTVhacker people devoted to programming. We have to wait another solution that allows us to do the same or better without having to open the device.
