Send To Phone is an extension for Firefox based on the excellent project ChromeToPhone allowing us to post links , text and images from a website to our phone with Android.
To use Send To Phone in Firefox, we must have a Google account and install the ChromeToPhone for Android in the mobile, we can download from the project site.
If you want to share a web page text , we only mark it and then from the context menu ( right mouse click ) in Firefox choose " Send this text to Android . " We can also send images or links to our mobile site by selecting the appropriate option from the shortcut menu . The links sent from Google Maps will open directly in Google Maps application for Android and Youtube links with their respective application. If we send a phone number as text dialer open directly in the number preloaded.
This tool uses the service Android Messaging Device to Cloud ( C2DM ) Google Android and need to run 2.2 or higher .
