The expected RIM tablet, from the Canadian company behind the BlackBerry, will be on the market this coming November. The information comes from Bloomberg, who contacted two people who are related to the project.
Seems a few things have been confirmed and one is the BlackPad name, and its dimensions will be in the line of IPAD, with a 9.7 inch screen and the presence of two cameras. We are excited to know what are the strengths with which it will fight its competition.
It has been reported that the BlackPad will not have 3G connectivity, and will need the use of a BlackBerry phone to get online. Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity will also get you online. We are told that the price of the device is very similar to that of the IPAD, close to 500 dollars, what will be difficult is the reach of 3 million units sold by the Apple device in 80 days.
