Today we present another alternative for measure speed of your Internet connection, Called Speedtest and that comes in the form of an application. Also differs from other tests to perform and discharge in this case what is measured is the connection speed websites until they have completed loading, which for many is more important than download speed and that affects or benefits more.
And though it requires installing an application and have always said that we prefer to avoid this step if you can, this type of work is something that many consider better done from the desktop from the web and in these cases there are times we do not have servers in our country and therefore the measurement will not be entirely correct.
Once downloaded the application usage is very simple and just have to enter the URLs of sites that we will use as a parameter to our measurements, or else we can enter an IP address. What you see first is a brief summary that will show the start time, end time, total duration, the KB or MB downloaded and speed achieved. Then we can see a graph, which also allows us to keep a record of each site and gives us the ability to print.
Speedtest is a freeware and compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP, in both 32 and 64 bits.
