When I bought the router to route wireless internet in my home, I knew that on many occasions as a BitTorrent client or Emule P2P can not connect, because unfortunately the same ports are not open, and do it manually is a rather cumbersome process, "difficult" (but not impossible) and would do a big job.

The software has the ability to detect the IP of the router, in some cases if you can convert dynamic to static, and change the default DNS servers. Simple Port Forwarding thus becomes an almost indispensable tool.
