Search contents of files in Windows with FileSeek

Personally what I like Windows 7 is the (super) Start Menu, you can search specifically because, as you type, your operating system, real time, without problems, files, documents, images, and even inside archives. For example, if you have a text within a file . TXTWill seek not only by file name, but also in content.

Well, this is not a novelty not so new, however, being in real time, that's what I like. FileSeek is an interesting proposal for computers with Windows XP.

Basically it is a powerful search engine, in English, which enables you to find files as well as possible, filtering by various parameters. FileSeek is only in English but not to worry about anything, it is totally intuitive, easy to use, thanks to the interface.

FileSeek

The procedure for finding files is to choose the search path, the type of file you want to include and exclude from the results (if you want all file types then the option Include *.* you put, if you want pictures, you place the extension, either *. jpeg or *. png, and thus all the files you want to filter your search), the query (option Query if you want to do a query into the contents of the file), and the search method.

The search method means how you will make reference to the query, that is, if you find text exactly as it is there, only a part or take into account spaces. Similarly, FileSeek allows you to search sub-folders, filtering by date of modification, even if they show files are changing at the time, definitely, a utility that I think is really powerful, very interesting and could become the ultimate alternative for all to when find information in files thousands of documents from our team.
