Samsung announces three USB 3.0 external drives

One of the novelties Samsung Electronics America has been the CES 2011 has been the new range of connecting external hard drives USB 3.0. Two are laptops and one desktop, counting all USB 3.0 interface, which offers a transfer rate 5GBs per second, allowing users to transfer a 25GB movie weight in just four minutes (compared to 13 minutes would need a USB interface 2.0).

From Samsung want to place special emphasis on design and high performance of these drives, which have great value for money, at least according to its leaders.

These hard drives portable external offer up to 1TB of capacity in a reduced format, displaying a design on matte finish against scratches or fingerprints. For more choice to the consumer, will be available in four colors: black brown, beige noble, orange clay, gray fog.

In addition, there will be a premium version with advanced security system, automatic backup software, and Secret  Zone option, which will create virtual disk hidden areas where no one but us can enter.

The desktop version will offer greater capacity, 1, 1.5 or 2TB customer's choice. These discs have LEDs to indicate drive status and operations being carried out and will be available in brown and beige black noble.

All these hard drives be launched in the U.S. in April at a price not determined.
