The Run command does not appear in the Start menu in this version of Windows. The search box that appears in the Start menu provides functionality nearly identical to the Run command . However, the Run command is still available if you prefer to use . You can even add to the Start menu for easy access .
To add the Run command on Start menu

To open the Properties of the Taskbar and Start Menu , click the button Start On Panel On Appearance and Personalization, Then Taskbar and Start Menu.

Click on the tab Start Menu, Then Personalize.

In the list of options in the Start menu , select the checkbox Run Then click OK. The Run command is displayed on the right side of the Start menu .
