Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers . Startup programs not running in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows installed .
Safe mode is useful for resolving problems programs and drivers that do not start properly, or prevent Windows start properly . If a problem does not reappear when you start in Safe Mode , you may eliminate the default settings and basic device drivers among the possible causes. If a program or device driver recently installed prevents the proper execution of Windows. You can start your computer in Safe Mode , then uninstall the program causing the problem .

Remove all floppy disks , CDs and DVDs from your computer, then restart your computer.
Click Start Click on the arrow next to the button Stop Then click Restart.

Do one of the following tasks :

If only one operating system is installed on your computer , press the F8 key and hold while your computer restarts . You must press F8 to display the logo Windows. If the logo Windows appears , you should begin once you have waited for the display of the logon screen Windows, you've stopped and restarted the computer .

If multiple operating systems are installed on your computer, use the arrow keys to select the operating system to boot in Safe Mode , then press F8 .

On the screen Advanced Boot Options. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode you want, then press Enter.

Log in to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.
When your computer is in Safe Mode, the words Safe Mode appear in the corners of the screen. To leave Safe Mode , restart your computer and let Windows start normally.
