If you follow the news from your favorite sites through their RSS feeds and Live Bookmarks in Firefox , you probably noticed that the flows were only updated every hour. If new information is published regularly , you can manually force the update of flow or reduce the interval of automatic update .
- In Firefox , you can update manually by clicking the RSS live bookmark with the right mouse button and choosing the command Updating entries.
- But this is not practical , especially if you follow dozens of son information . You can automatically update and more frequent feeds. In the address bar , type the command about: config and press Entrance.
- Click I'll be careful , I promise !.
- Click the right mouse button on any item in the list and click News then Numeric.
- Name the new option browser.bookmarks.livemark_refresh_seconds. Click OK.
- You must then enter the update interval of Live Bookmarks in seconds , for example 300 to update every 5 minutes. Do not choose a value too low ( less than one minute) in order not to overload your favorite sites and risk to banish you .
- Restart Firefox to apply the change . The RSS feeds you follow are updated more regularly.
