A brand new update from Android has arrived, FRG22D and allows user to install Flash Player 10.1. The firmware file comes directly from Google and it is the same version as what your phone would download more than the air. Follow these following steps to manually install the new firmware :
1. Download from Google the official Android 2.2 firmware: FRG22D-from-FRG01B
2. Copy the file you've downloaded to the root directory your microSD card and name it update.zip
3. Turn off your phone, retain the X button on physical keyboard and turn over a power on to boot into recovery mode.
4. Following you see the “/!” symbol, press volume up and also the camera button likewise to display the recovery options.
5. Use the d-pad to select “apply sdcard:update.zip” and select it.
6. When the “Install from sdcard complete” appears, choose “reboot system now”.
