Not only has improved the performance but also the icons in the sidebar have been moved to a monochromatic scheme , which gives , in my opinion, a more uniform and stylish icons used in the previous version.
However, something that has been universally loathed (including me) , is the new iTunes icon 10. Was a way to bypass the CD, now that digital sales have overtaken those of the disks ... but it was necessary to replace it with an icon so horrible ? Especially for applications in the Mac at least, is almost always a permanent space Dock?
Fortunately, return to the previous icon iTunes in September , or even replace it with "remakes" created by fans and designers (like you see in the picture above, in my Dock) , it is super simple OS X.
Step 1 : Getting (and becoming) the icon
First thing we do , it will download the original iTunes icon 9, which can download here. If you only want to replace the original icon , skip to Step 2. If , however , want to replace it with another icon , keep reading .
Step 2: Changing the icon
Now open / Applications , we give a right click iTunes and click on "Show Package Contents "
Once inside, navigate to Contents / Resources
And here we drop iTunes.icns , replacing the previous one ( if they can pull the original to have a copy of security).
Once done , close iTunes, restart the Mac ( or give a " killall Dock "from Terminal) , and the next time you open iTunes, will the new icon !
