Senior Vice President Yoshihisa Ishida Sony has declared today to Associated Press that the company Japan is working on a type of television that does not need 3D glasses for for viewing the content. Sony follows the trail of their compatriots who have already announced a Toshiba TV with similar features.
"To see 3D without glasses is more convenient. But we must consider the price before we can think of when we will begin to offer " , said Ishida.
Shortly after a launch event for their new models , Ishida talked about the deteriorating U.S. economy during June and July , so wait until early fall to present its TV sales estimates for the next fiscal year. He added that demand had been unexpectedly better in some markets but below expectations in others, like Singapore.
