As you start out in Monster World, the number of plots is limited and you are only able to add plots when you level up. Your best option therefore is to plat trees that grow up quickly lie Candycrane and Spike balls. Growing plants can give you experience points so make the most of your time.
Harvesting your plants also give you experience points so take note of the time that you will be able to harvest whatever it is that you planted. You can see the number of hours before harvest, the points you’ll gain from harvesting, etc.. when you browse on the icons for a particular crop. So take note of these things.
Another thing you can do to gain more experience and level up faster in Monster World is to decorate your garden. Doing such will increase the happiness of your characters which in turn increases your experience points. Of course you can only unlock more decorative items when you level up so keep those experience points and coins you earned piling up and then go for those items that will give you the most return for your buck.
