IOS version 4.2 is already here and most likely you soon upgrade your device, whether iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to this version and if you want to do Jailbreak your device and make this a Unter Jailbreak which has many advantages then you get the blobs SHSH IOS 4.1, which is currently installed, since version 4.2 can not be obtained because it has stopped signing Applr previous versions of IOS.
Why should you save your SHSH IOS Blobs 4.1? There are two reasons for this:
- If you accidentally upgrade to version 4.2 and for some reason you want to downgrade to version 4.1, you must have the SHSH saved Cydia.
- Next update Limera1n for 4.2 iOS will need to have IOS SHSH Blobs 4.1 Untethered to the Jailbreak. If not keep the Blobs SHSH Now, you have a Tethered Jailbreak with the disadvantages that it has.
While Cydia Blobs can automatically save your SHSH is better to use TinyUmbrella to store Blobs SHSH.
Here's a guide on how to save for Blobs SHSH iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch and 3G 4G IOS 4.1 and iPad 3.2.2 IOS
- Download TinyUmbrella for Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Once you've downloaded open TinyUmbrella and connect your device with IOS to your PC or Mac with USB cable. Make sure iTunes is not open.
- TinyUmbrella should now detect your device in the left column as shown in image below, click on your device detected.
- Now click on the button that says "Save SHSH"And wait TinyUmbrella to save Blobs SHSH in Cydia.
- That's it, wait a moment and then Cydia you will see a notice on the home screen that you have saved the Blobs SHSH.
