Ad-Aware Free Spyware is a well-known that for a while stopped using the emergence of other similar programs that fulfill its function well as Malwarebytes.
Lavasoft released a few hours a new version of its products, among which is the free version of Ad-Aware:
My first surprise when downloading is that it is a 124 MB program, Much bigger than I remember. This is because from the Free version you can activate the paid versions that include firewall, antispam, parental control, system backups and a long list of functions.
Now Ad-Aware Free addition to being an antispyware, it also offers basic virus protection:
My recommendation if you install this version, is used as a resident complement antivirus, If it already offers anti-spyware protection will disable Ad-Watch real time and if leave it on, it disable your antivirus engine to avoid any kind of conflict.
