RockMeIt, the social browser based on Chrome is already being tested

Until now, if we had to think of a social browser The first thing we came to mind was Flock, A project that has long been offering many options for connectivity and interaction to more fans. But there is another interesting alternative, called RockMeIt, We met some time ago and today is launching a beta.

To define basically RockMeIt interface (unlike Flock is based on Google Chrome) could say that sailing offers a central section with two sidebars on either side of this, where we find all the social functions.

RockMeIt

For example see our business and our contacts Facebook (We can also share content or start a chat directly from there), all in the left bar. The right, however, offers us the possibility to follow RSS feeds, Gmail, or continue working in our timeline Twitter.

But also RockMeIt offers advantages in terms of operating speed, and also a feature as important as search, which become very fast and intuitive. And is that developers have worked hard to make this happen, with many modules created in HTML5, Which allows quick navigation and the ability to use several functions or modules simultaneously.

RockMeIt is a very interesting project for those who spend much time on social networks and like to interact with others while surfing. Flock, despite a promising start, failed to become a contender, but maybe RockMeIt (backed by Marc Andreessen and other heavy weight) if possible. For now is in private beta phase, but are accepting requests through Facebook Connect (and from their website).
