Adium, my instant messaging application (Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, IRC, Facebook Chat and more) Has just been updated to version 1.4 after some time officially - at halftime, we were entertained with various Betas - which brings a lot of changes, especially if you were using the official version.
This new version includes a very rudimentary support Twitter. If you use Twitter when it offered support via instant messaging, as Adium offers something similar: we open a chat window, where we will see emergence of new Twitter messages. The support is for multiple accounts, but probably not replace your existing customers, especially if they use or Tweetie Tweetie. Facebook Chat is one that was included in the betas and also finally see the light in the final version.
Apart from this, it has improved the speed of the program, corrected many bugs, and there have been a lot of changes. Forget Messenger for Mac, or other clients boring. If you have not already done so, give it a chance to Adium. And if you use it, do not forget to update it!
