Apparently Apple does not want to fall behind Google and Steve Jobs announced recently between some of the new developments that will come very soon among which are the creation of a social network named Ping.
According to rumors this social network system will work in partnership with iTunes and is said to be able to share music with others in the network of iTunes, you could say that is comparable to other social networks such as Myspace and Last.fm.
Ping What distinguished from other social networks is the fact that it is part of a product which is iTunes so no doubt try to sell the songs you hear in this way. Last.Fm is similar but is only limited to qualifying artists and encourage attendance at concerts, Ping also may qualify for the artists, but no doubt Steve Jobs is well known for wanting to charge up to flip to see a product belonging to their brand. We'll see how it will unveil more features of this new social network.
